Kentucky Prison Riot
The Kentucky Prison Riot reports severe damages to the medical building, kitchen, canteen, and multi-purpose building. There are no hostages at the Northpoint Training Center except having left so much damage that officials are starting to transport the inmates at an undisclosed facility. The Northpoint Training Center is located in Mercer County Kentucky and it housed 1100 inmates.
It appears that the boys at a modest size Kentucky Prison did a little acting out yesterday and almost completely destroyed their facility, leaving only one unit still inhabitable. Besides the housing units they trashed the visiting and medical unit.
The current talking point is overcrowding causes riots, not inmates. The Kentucky Prison Riot began Friday shortly after prison officials eased restrictions on a lockdown, with inmates setting fire to buildings, breaking windows and throwing rocks at guards.
